🧤 Giro Bravo Gel Men's Road Cycling Gloves
6 Months of Sweat, Rain, and Gravel — Here's the Verdict
I bought these gloves in August 2023 and wore them through mountain rides, early morning commutes, and one very muddy gravel adventure. This is my honest take.
Price at purchase: $26.88
Date purchased: August 2023
🏆 The Good
✅ Why These Gloves Work
- Gel padding actually works — No numb hands on 2-hour rides
- Breathable back — Hands stayed cool even at 85°F
- Easy on/off — Pull tabs on fingers make stripping them off painless
- Good grip — Handlebar feel is solid, even wet
- Touchscreen compatible — Thumb and index finger work with phones
😤 The Not-So-Good
❌ Room for Improvement
- Padding is slightly不够 thick for aggressive mountain biking
- Yellow color shows dirt quickly (but that's on me)
- Seams started fraying at 4-month mark
📋 Specs
- Padding: Gel foam palm
- Material: Synthetic leather palm, mesh back
- Closure: Hook and loop strap
- Sizes: S, M, L, XL
- Colors: Highlight Yellow, Black, White
🏆 The Verdict
At $26.88, these are a no-brainer. The gel padding is genuinely comfortable, they breathe well, and the touchscreen compatibility is a nice touch. The stitching could be more durable, but for casual to moderate riders? Highly recommended.
